Minnesota Parent Magazine

I was interviewed for the current issue of Minnesota Parent Magazine!
Written by Claire Walling, the article features a round up of Minnesota
authors and illustrators including Mary Casanova

The editor Kathleen Stoehr wrote in her notes some very sweet words about the illustration I created for them (Thank you, Kathleen!)....
"She captured the casual sweetness of a midsummer morning, the kind I recall from my youth, perfectly. I most certainly spent much of each summer break lazing around with a book and a sandwich, though I was never fortunate enough to have bunnies, bears, and birds for friends"

You can read the full article here.

Far Flutterby

The very first book I illustrated is finally available!

With caterpillars, butterflies, and birds, this was a really fun book commission to get right out of the gate. It's written by Karen Kingsbury who, with over 20 million books in print, is a bit of a powerhouse in the Christian book industry.  Read more about Karen at her website.
