I worked on this one in the middle of winter and had 

no problem dreaming up summer activities.

Stella Batts..book 2!

The 2cd book in the Stella Batts series has been released! 

In this book, not only does Stella have an unfortunate incident involving gum and her hair, but she has to cope with a friend who's moving across the country. Written by Courtney Sheinmel, this is a fun series if you have a little girl in your life.

Like the first book, this one is packed with illustrations. Here are a few of my favorites...

Far Flutterby

The very first book I illustrated is finally available!

With caterpillars, butterflies, and birds, this was a really fun book commission to get right out of the gate. It's written by Karen Kingsbury who, with over 20 million books in print, is a bit of a powerhouse in the Christian book industry.  Read more about Karen at her website. Stella Batts Sneak Peek

Stella Batts: Needs a New Name is coming soon! Written by Courtney Sheinmel, this is the first book in a series that I've been illustrating. Look for it at your local bookstore in early February 2012 and in the meantime, visit Stella's newly launched website to read more about it.

I saw one of the Christmas cards I illustrated for American Greetings at Target the other day. It's a pop-up AND it has lights and music. This card means business!

"Too Shy For Show-and-Tell" is a book I illustrated for the wonderful people at Capstone Press. Available here. Its a sweet little story packed with all kinds of fun animal characters.
